High Noon Senna
A personal project to redesign a splash art for High Noon Senna.
I challenged myself to find a solution for incorporating her horse, which is shown as a gun in her official in-game art.I felt that the final composition had a good solution for this, as well as a solid sense of depth and capturing her power fantasy.Special thanks to Justin Altman for critique!Work done 2023
PsyOps Lissandra (Work in Progress)
Original skin splash for Psyops Lissandra.
I wanted to create a highly emotional piece focusing on the moment of Lissandra breaking out. Other challenges were showcasing her psychic arms as well as using foreshortening to effectively fill the space.Credit to @o_oleu on Twitter for the original concept!Work done 2023
FFXIV Fanart
Dark Waters Kalista & Aurelion Sol
Original duo splash for Dark Waters Kalista and Aurelion Sol.
This was a piece that was a lot of firsts for me-- first duo illustration, creature splash, creature design, and first piece in this perspective! I wanted to tackle all of these challenges while painting two characters I really enjoy. I aimed for a very moody, stormy atmosphere, with both characters lit under the rain.Aurelion Sol was an original design of mine, but Kalista is credited to @o_oleu on Twitter (X)!Work done 2023
Lucky Dragon Nami (Work in Progress)
Original splash illustration of Lucky Dragon Nami.
Originally designed around the Chinese New Year, I wanted to create and illustrate a Nami skin where she was very cheery and decked out in traditional Chinese wear. Elements referenced include traditional Qing cloud collars and hairstyles, myths of dragons, and other items.Work done 2021
Modern Death Nami
Original Splash and Concept for Modern Death Nami.
I hoped to try my hand at designing an original skin as well as illustrating it. This skinline focuses on combining the traditional Chinese myths of Jiangshi with modern techwear fashion.I explored several designs with varying amounts of Jiangshi influence, and settled on a combination that I felt payed proper homage to both influences! While the splash is still a work in progress, I wanted to show my thought process and thumbnails.Work done 2023
Yeeps Key Art
Illustrated original key art for Yeeps as well as a modernized version to establish new brand identity. Helped align aesthetic decisions with new brand goals, such as appealing to a younger audience and including a more cartoony style.
